I am a morning person who prefer black tea and not coffee. I love adventure and fantasy games and I cannot stand a messy environment. I do not really care much for sports but I enjoy watching rugby and wrestling on television while knitting.
I have never decided if I am a cat or a dog person. I love carnivals but I am afraid of heights. I have a degree in communication
but sometimes I should think before I speak.
I am an outgoing, positive and independent woman who loves to be a geek in front of a screen. I use a lot of my time designing and developing websites, gaming on PC and on consoles along with watching movies and TV-shows. When I am not in front of the screen, I love riding motorcycle, knitting and caring for my houseplants.
Other than being extremely creative and full of ideas, I am also very good at working very structured and organizing my work from start to finish. I am quick to learn new things and adapt to new work methods or contribute with suggestions. I take my work very seriously and I am not afraid to pitch in when or where it is needed. I love new challenges and I will do what it takes to solve them.
Story of ‘Nivaliss’
I’m often asked where the name comes from and why I use it and here is why. The name comes from Latin ‘Nivalis Galanthus’ which is the name of the winter flower Snowdrop (in Danish: Vintergæk).
For a period in my youth, I struggled with a depression. But my admiration for the very winter-hardy flower made me grow stronger in my confidence and in the end made me recover. The flower is the very first spring flower to appear. It always seems to resurface, despite the cold temperatures. And so I found myself similar strong as the flower and hence came the second ‘S’ on the name. Today it still reminds me that whatever happens, I am strong enough to overcome it.
